Attorney Gary J. Gottfried is certified as a Family Law Specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association. He graduated from Marietta College in 1970 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science. He then entered Capital University Law School and graduated in 1973 with a Juris Doctor degree.

Since his graduation from law school, Gary has concentrated his practice in the area of family law and business litigation. Gary is an Adjunct Professor at Capital University Law School, where he teaches family law in the Legal Assistants Program. He has also presented lectures in the areas of family law and trial practice on behalf of various Bar Associations throughout the State of Ohio, the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, and The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Ohio Chapter. Gary Gottfried is admitted to practice law before all courts in the State of Ohio. In addition he is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and The United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Gary is the co-author of chapter on International Family Law in Sowald & Morgenstern, Domestic Relations Law (1997). He is a Certified Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has been named an "Ohio Super Lawyer" And one of Ohio's Top 100 Lawyers in 2005.

Eric Brown

Attorney Eric Brown graduated from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 2002 with a  Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminology.  Mr. Brown graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio in 2007. He served as a legal intern in the office of the Franklin County Prosecutor from 2005 - 2007.  Mr. Brown enjoys the practice of family law and the ability to do something practical which makes a difference and genuinely contributes to the lives of his clients.
